GIC Information and Fees
Park Open to the Public: 9 am - 9 pm - 365 days per year unless otherwise noted.
It is the policy of the town not to issue refunds due to "weather" unless the park needs to be closed due to a weather related event.
New Castle Residents
- No admission charge if vehicle has current resident sticker.
- Resident must be present for all guests.
Non-Residents
- Admission charged from May 16th through Columbus Day / Indigenous People's Day.
- Admission Fee Hours: 9am - 6pm
General Admission Fees
- Per Vehicle $15
- Senior Drivers (65+) $7
- Veterans $7
- Bus or Trolley $150
- Small Bus $75
- No Group Rates
School Buses admissions can be invoiced through RecDesk or paid for the at the gate.
When paying with a credit card, please note that RecDesk bank charges a small processing service fee.
If the party renting the wedding area or pavilion wants to pay the parking fee for their guests, please give your information to the gate attendant with a credit card to be charged after the event. The attendant will keep track of the guests as they enter the Commons.
Tent Space and Pavilions (3)
- $750/day per tent site. General admission fees apply.
- $200/day for pavilions, $100 for half-day. 3 available. A half day Pavilion rental runs from either 9 am to 2:30 p.m. or from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m at park close.
-The rental fee for pavilions & wedding area does NOT include the parking/admission fee.
-If event is canceled, fees returned, provided notification received a minimum of 14 days in advance of the scheduled event. Otherwise, no refund will be issued.
When making reservations for pavilions, only available days and time will populate in RecDesk.
When the park is charging for admission, the bathhouse and bathroom facilities will be open.
Special Event Applications that require select board approval need at least 45 days prior to the event for coordination. Thank you!
- Reservations are made through the Town's Rec Desk site.
- Tents larger than 20’x20’ must have New Castle Fire Department approval.
- Tent rental, installation, and removal is the responsibility of the user.
- Non-reserved pavilions available on a first come-first serve basis.
Wedding Area Rental
- One area available to rent: $500/day. Wedding area rental does NOT include the parking fee admission to the park or pavilions.
- Applications through Rec Desk.
- Chairs may be brought in but must be removed the same day as event.
Invoices to be paid at time of reservation, reservations will be canceled if invoice is unpaid after 14 days.
